Learning from an Experienced HR Professional: Reflection on My Zoom Session with Ashneel Reddy

I attended a Zoom meeting with Ashneel Reddy, a retired Human Resources professional who previously worked at a university in Seattle. This session was both inspiring and practical, as he shared real-life insights from his long career in HR and provided valuable advice on the soft skills that truly shape professional success. The conversation helped me clearly understand what employers look for beyond technical knowledge and how I can prepare myself for my future career.

One of the most important lessons Ashneel emphasized was the power of clear communication. He explained that being able to express ideas confidently, listen actively, and respond with clarity can prevent misunderstandings and build strong workplace relationships. This directly connects to my career goals, as I aim to work in a professional environment where teamwork and collaboration are essential.
